Due to expansion Novaturient School is looking for a new teacher to join our dedicated team.

PCT Education are the proud proprietors of a small Independent School in Great Yarmouth Novaturient School specialize in addressing and supporting social, emotional and behavioural difficulties that affect student social interaction and progression. All students within the school have individualised health care plans that highlight specific needs. Being a small provision allows us to meet their needs through an out of the box creative curriculum, we can bring energy and passion back into teaching. Novaturient School works with some of the hardest to engage young people across Norfolk. This opportunity will be challenging but a rewarding role that give the right candidates the ability to change lives and influence their future direction.
We are looking for someone with an open mind that can identify individual strengths and use creative techniques to interpret the curriculum. An understanding of Individual Health Care Plan will be of benefit or relevant experience of working with special educational needs.
This role requires you to have had experience in teaching or supporting hard to reach young people, switching them back on to learning and successfully leading the students through accreditation and inspiring them for the future.
Knowledge of Functional Skills would be helpful alongside an energy and enthusiasm to bring learning to life.

Create and Lead engaging lessons in accordance with the philosophy and working ethos of the school and all relevant legislation/regulation, meeting the Independent School Standards.
Ensure the achievement of excellent educational delivery that is assessed, achieved and recorded.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children including behaviour management.
High level Teaching Assistants

Novaturient School is looking for experienced HLTA with the skills to motivate and progress our students in all areas of life. The successful candidate will be offered the opportunity and support to undertake teacher training.
High-level Teacher Assistant (HLTA)
This role will work alongside the Teacher and Head Teacher in order to secure high quality teaching and learning for students with social and emotional barriers affecting their learning. Our student’s all have EHC plans and often experienced gapes in education and exclusion from mainstream. Someone with experience of meeting the social and emotional and educational needs of children and young people on the periphery of education is desired. The successful candidate will support the teaching staff and individually mentoring students. We are looking for a strong candidate that able to use their strength and interests to enhance the curriculum and become a key part of our team, supporting the provision and progression of all our students.
HLTAs will be required to work with small groups and one to one with key students alongside supporting whole class activity.
